SZ8596 : Former Railway Bridge

taken 17 years ago, near to Church Norton, West Sussex, England

Former Railway Bridge
Former Railway Bridge
One of the only structures remaining from the Selsey Tramway which ran from Chichester to Selsey between 1897-1935 (see SZ8596 : Permissive Bridleway, Pagham Harbour for the full story). Now just carrying a pipe across Ferry Channel and certainly not advisable to try and walk over it.
