The clock is unusual in that it was literally cobbled together by a local resident called Jack Spratt and the village blacksmith in 1911 to commemorate the coronation of King George V. Information from 'The Wiltshire Village Book' Michael Marshman, Countryside Books 1987. The face shown looks south. Handy that the phrase 'Glory be to God' contains exactly twelve letters.
