New Gordale Bridge
New Gordale Bridge
The relatively modern Gordale Bridge has been constructed to straighten the line of the minor road over Gordale Beck. The photo is taken from the old Gordale Bridge, which crosses the beck at right angles and is, therefore, more difficult to negotiate. The wooded valley in the distance conceals Janet's Foss.
