Leeds and Liverpool Canal: Site of Banks Bridge
Leeds and Liverpool Canal: Site of Banks Bridge
There has not been a bridge here for around 40 years. It was No 155, and the next bridge originally was Eastwood which was 154, which has also (more recently) disappeared. The main road bridge carrying Skipton Road was given the number 154A. So now, going southwards from Greenberfield, we have 156, 154A, and then 153.
