TQ2288 : Hendon: Midland Hotel

taken 11 years ago, near to Hendon, Barnet, Great Britain

Hendon: Midland Hotel
Hendon: Midland Hotel
A typical Victorian railway station hotel, it was built in 1889 according to the plaque over the entrance arch. Greene King have attempted to update the image by calling it "the Mids", as evidenced by the pub sign. The road in front is the A504 Station Road. The grey girderwork to the left is a gantry over the M1 Motorway.
