Camps Viaduct, Almondell
Camps Viaduct, Almondell
A magnificent railway viaduct, dating from the 1880s, crossing the River Almond in the country park. Closed about 1960, it used to carry the line from the shale oil works at Pumpherston to the North British Railway at Camps. It is now part of the National Cycle Network route 75, and provides magnificent views of the river from above.
