taken 12 years ago, near to Marrick, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Store Shed, Marrick Mills
Store Shed, Marrick Mills
Remains of the ore and material store, built opposite the peat store, and less than 200 yrds from the High Mill. Behind here is one of 3 dams that were built to supply water to the mills.

This whole site of industrial heritage is remarkably well preserved, and forms one of the finest monuments to lead smelting in the Dales.
