Ribblehead Viaduct Walk 22nd July 2007
Site of Batty Moss 'Belgravia' shanty town. Several shanty towns were established during the construction of the viaduct and railway at Batty Moss. Most were named after locations of the Crimea War but this location was seen as being a little superior so was called 'Belgravia' to denote its status.
