Stone sheds
Stone sheds
A cluster of little stone huts and storehouses stands along the road here: one is marked Blacksmith's store. On this wet and windy peninsula where only stone stands up to the weather these little buildings would have many uses. It's also tempting to speculate that they might have housed people in times of rural poverty when even tiny stonebuilt dwellings would have been a step up from the mud hovels that were the resort of the most desperate.
