Little Scotland
Little Scotland
Why should this farmland to the South of Blundell Lane be called Little Scotland? The landowner, Baron Haigh of Wigan, was also Earl of Crawford and Balcarres. He could call it anything he liked. He liked the place of his birth. Any arguments?
