SO1296 : After the flood

taken 17 years ago, near to Bettws Cedewain, Powys, Wales

After the flood
After the flood
Houses in the centre of Bettws Cedewain were inundated on the night of 22 July 2007 when a wall of water swept down Bechan Brook after a blockage upstream gave way (or so I was told). Two days later the front gardens were filled with the flood-damaged furniture and carpets.
