St Martin's church
St Martin's church
Right by the castle and said to be the oldest of the town's three churches with elements that go back to the C14 and C15. The spire is a Victorian replacement of a C16 one. The raised churchyard enclosed by a retaining wall is an attractive feature in this quiet residential part of the town high above the traffic flow.
