Gwys Fawr
Gwys Fawr
Just above its confluence with the Gwys Fach to form the Nant Gwys. This mountain stream has carved out a valley through the morainic debris- sand, gravel and boulders - which is plastered across these southern slopes of the Black Mountain. Modification of the post-glacial landscape is still taking place even 10 to 15,000 years on as the shot shows.
