Dry stone wall on Llorfa
Dry stone wall on Llorfa
One of several attempts to enclose part of the common land of the Black Mountain, this now abandoned dry stone wall stretches up the slope away from the Gwys Fawr. Building stone is ready to hand in the river bed and in spreads of morainic boulders of old Red Sandstone and gritstone across the moorland.
