Wall leads the eye to Cribarth
Wall leads the eye to Cribarth
The rubbly remains of a dry stone wall stretch across the lower slopes of Cefn Mawr. The blocks of Millstone Grit, Old Red Sandstone and Carboniferous Limestone will have been gathered from the surrounding ground where they were dumped by glaciers some 18,000 years ago. Cribarth - 'the sleeping giant' is seen in the distance.
