Fish Meadow - July 2007 Flood

Fish Meadow provides a useful flood plain for the River Severn's winter floods. During the rest of the year it can be used for grazing and recreational activities. the latter includes point-to-point racing, steam rallies, jazz festival and model aircraft flying - hence the wind sock. (Link Unfortunately this year we saw heavy rain saturating the ground during the jazz festival followed by the July 2007 deluge. Some of these vehicles have remained since the festival.
