Dune erosion
Dune erosion
When I first visited this area some 20 odd years ago, the wartime anti-tank blocks were at the base of the dunes. The dunes have now receded quite some way. Many of the blocks carry inscriptions by the (Pioneer Corps?) soldiers who made them. Quite a few relate to places in Wales.
