Grazing on Little Warley Common
Grazing on Little Warley Common
Little Warley Common is now mainly secondary woodland. The open grazing scrubbed over and then became woods when grazing ceased at the end of the nineteenth century. At the southern end of the common some grazing and mowing maintain the grassland habitat.
