Land slipping into the Gwys Fawr
Land slipping into the Gwys Fawr
This concave feature in the side of the Gwys Fawr valley has been formed by slippage of the clay, gravel and boulders into the river which then carries the material away then allowing more to slip down. Thus the valley widens.
