Flotsam across the field

Looking from near the bridge over the River Isbourne towards Hinton on the Green. The highest level of the floodwater is marked by a line of debris, with much of the soil below this line showing the marks of the fast-flowing water. Timber and straw from broken bales have been trapped by the hedge following the floods caused by the heavy rain on Friday 20th July 2007.
