SS2223 : Upper waterfall, Speke's Mill Mouth

taken 11 years ago, near to Milford, Devon, Great Britain

Upper waterfall, Speke's Mill Mouth
Upper waterfall, Speke's Mill Mouth
The first and highest (54 feet) of the five waterfalls by which Milford Water reaches the sea. It drops down the dip of the rock and then turns sharply left along the strike. Compare SS2223 : Spekes Mill Mouth taken in a rather drier summer, with only the left side of the fall carrying water.
