Parish Church of All Saints, Wigan
Parish Church of All Saints, Wigan
Founded possibly as early as 1199, the parish church of All Saints was restored about 1630 but most of the present structure was erected between 1845 and 1850, when the Church was almost entirely rebuilt. After receiving a Lottery Heritage grant in 2002 the stone work of the tower, its louvres, gargoyles and pinnacles, the north and south nave, tower and vestry roofs and stained glass have all been repaired.
