Drysdales Vegetable Packing Plant
Drysdales Vegetable Packing Plant
The extensive industrial buildings are inconspicuously sited in a former quarry. The plant packs vegetables from the local area. It is well known for the ecologically friendly treatment of waste water in reedbeds, which can be seen to the right of the buildings here. The treated water leaves the plant along what looks like a glacial meltwater channel.
