NH9805 : Ski tow in summer

taken 13 years ago, near to Allt Coire an t-Sneachda [water Feature], Highland, Great Britain

Ski tow in summer.
Ski tow in summer.
Normally ski grounds in summer are pretty ugly places, eroded with wires all over the place. This is also true outside Scotland. Once Coire Cas was a national disgrace, but the much criticised Cairngorm Chairlift company should take a lot of credit for the work they have done here. The area is green and uneroded and very tidy. Looks almost like the natural hillside, and best of all the forest is returning from exile down in Glen More. Well done all concerned.
