SN1745 : North tower, Cardigan castle

taken 10 years ago, near to Cardigan/Aberteifi, Ceredigion/Sir Ceredigion, Great Britain

North tower, Cardigan castle
North tower, Cardigan castle
The north tower, difficult to see under scaffolding and incorporated in the back of Castle Green House, was a large drum tower with spur feet and a vaulted basement. It is hoped that excavation will reveal how it relates to the rest of the structure.
