NH9901 : Garbh Uisge

taken 13 years ago, near to Fith Buidhe [water Feature], Moray, Great Britain

Garbh Uisge.
Garbh Uisge.
Headwaters of the River Avon, and a candidate for Scotland's highest river. Gathering on the plateau of Ben MacDui,the combined waters plunge over slabs to join Loch Avon near the Shelter Stone. Beyond the bouldery barrens the photo shows the tor studded Beinn Mheadhoin and the top of the Shelterstone Crag. Loch Avon below. Typical Norwegian scenery, without the expensive beer.
