With the expunging of the footpath from Withersfield to Haverhill, due to housing development on Haverhill's northern fringe, this square is now extremely difficult to reach. However, a tempting fringe to a cornfield near Hall Farm proved the answer, and with no one watching the square was swiftly accessed.
