Round barrows on Beaulieu Heath, New Forest
Round barrows on Beaulieu Heath, New Forest
The low mound to the left in the foreground is a Bronze Age round barrow, slightly reduced in height when this area was ploughed during the hard times of the Second World War. Apparently there is another smaller barrow right next to it, in the foreground. The trees in the distance are part of the Norley Inclosure.
