Byway near Aston Down airfield
Cyclist on a byway-open-to-all-traffic nearing hangars on Aston Down airfield. The airfield was used by the RAF from the First World War until 1967, when the Cotswold Gliding Club moved there from Tetbury. They are still based there today. In 2002 some of the land and most of the hangars on the airfield were sold by the Ministry of Defence to private developers for use as industrial units.
