Giant Homer Simpson on Giant Hill, Cerne Abbas
This giant outline of Homer Simpson was painted alongside the Cerne Giant on 16th July 2007, to publicise the cinema release of The Simpsons Movie. It was reported that the white paint was water soluble and biodegradable, although a few weeks of rain don't seem to have made much difference to it. This is not the first publicity stunt involving the priapic chalk hill-figure (past ones have involved Durex condoms, AIDS awareness, art installations and the Dorset Infertility Support Group).
