NH9807 : Landslips, Allt Mor

taken 13 years ago, near to Allt na Ciste [water Feature], Highland, Great Britain

Landslips, Allt Mor.
Landslips, Allt Mor.
The burns draining the northern corries of Cairngorm gather to form the Allt Mor, a river running to Loch Morlich. As the river encounters some glacial outwash gravels there are areas of frequent landslides.

Recent natural encroachment of the forest upon the moorland can be seen here too, around the hairpins of the ski road.
