Ridley Hush
Ridley Hush
A massive scar on the heather moorland caused by a crude form of extraction of lead ore. The beck was dammed up and when the reservoir was big enough, the dam was breached causing a cascade of water to scour the beck side revealing the lead ore which was then picked over.
