Foxhole School - Former Chemistry and Library block
Foxhole School - Former Chemistry and Library block
In 1956 the protruding wing had the Chemistry Lab on the ground floor - where I was taught Chemistry by Jack Hamshere. Above it was the Library - where I seem to remember one of the most thumbed books was Margaret Mead's "Coming of Age in Samoa"
The boiler room was on the right, and the room above was a print shop where subjects such as book binding were taught - although I can't remember having ever gone inside.
