Pennine Bridleway, Castleshaw
Pennine Bridleway, Castleshaw
This is the steep descent of Low Gate Lane, a rough track that drops from Ox Hey Top into the Castleshaw valley above Delph. The Pennine Bridleway website warns users of the steep and rocky nature of this section of the National Trail. The surface deteriorates gradually as the track steepens towards the foot of the descent.
