Private forestry and a welcoming committee

Just across the Gortgole road from Big Gortgole Forest (C9606) is another block of conifer forest this time in, I believe, private hands. A number of farmers in this area have turned to growing trees in search of a better paying crop than the more traditional ones. The cows were very welcoming!
