Permissive Open Access Land below Bald Hill
Permissive Open Access Land below Bald Hill
The Oxfordshire Branch of the Ramblers Association used this area as their example in campaigns which culminated in the Countryside and Rights of way Act 2000. The upper area of downland has CRoW public access. The lower area used to be arable and is being converted to downland, and now has permissive access.
