NG9901 : Loch Quoich

taken 10 years ago, near to Allt a' Mhaingir [water Feature], Highland, Great Britain

Loch Quoich
Loch Quoich
The loch is slightly drawn down allowing the square to be entered by boulder hopping off the new steeply sloping beach. This is not far from the original shoreline before the dam, but well above the old loch level.
The square is nearly all Loch Quoich and was also mostly taken up by the natural loch before the hydroelectric works.
