Heathland path, near King's Copse Inclosure, New Forest
This well-worn path runs alongside the gravel road to King's Copse Inclosure (the conifer trees in the distance). The stones are white because they have been bleached by the acid conditions of the heathland soil. Here the path turns to the south-east and passes through a linear boundary bank, headed for the north gate to King's Copse Inclosure.
