National Cycle Network Route 64

When complete, NCN Route 64 will run for 68 miles from Market Harborough to Lincoln via Melton Mowbray, Newark, Collingham and Harby.
The route leaves Market Harborough on minor roads through gently rolling terrain via Melton Mowbray to Bottesford, where a short gap in the designated route can be bridged by a combination of country lanes, bridleways and canal towpaths.
The five-mile stretch between Cotham and Newark follows the line of the former Newark to Bottesford railway line LinkExternal link . The route leaves Newark on quiet country lanes through Collingham and on to Harby LinkExternal link where the final 7 miles in to Lincoln LinkExternal link follow the former Lincoln to Chesterfield railway line and the Roman Fossdyke canal.
