Dinosaur footprint in a fossilised trackway, Hanover Point
Out on the rocks exposed at low tide there is a trackway of dinosaur footprints. This is a close-up of the first visible print in the series, although it a little muddy and human feet have been standing in it. The prints are smaller than the iguanadon footprint casts on the beach. The print could be that of a therapod or an iguanodontid. In the 1990s fossil collectors attempted to remove one of the footprints in this trackway, although it was probably destroyed in the process. The missing square is quite obvious.
