The scale can be judged from my companion on the Pennine Way, seen left of the fall, making his way behind it to emerge damp but triumphant on the opposite side. The name has changed from 'Hardrow' given on the 1973 OS 1:25,000 'Three Peaks' map and also in Wainwright's 'Pennine Way Companion'.
