Wightlink ferry Cenred entering the Lymington River
Wightlink ferry Cenred entering the Lymington River
This ferry is one of three that serve the route between Lymington, Hampshire and Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight. It was built in 1974 by Robb Caledon Shipbuilders, Dundee. Here it is entering the Lymington River, passing the ferry going in the opposite direction. Part of the Lymington Spit mudflats are visible on the left, and the Isle of Wight on the far side of the Solent.
