TA1626 : Wall of Glass

taken 7 years ago, near to Paull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England

Wall of Glass
Wall of Glass
This is the north-west section of the new glass river defences at the small village of Paull. Costing £850,000 and 520m in length, this is the longest glass flood protection of its type in the UK. It will help to prevent flooding in the many square miles of south-west Holderness' low-lying land behind it.
