Round Pond, Kensington Gardens
Round Pond, Kensington Gardens
This large pond was created as landscaping for Kensington Palace in 1728, when it was the main home of George II and Queen Caroline. Now it is frequented by wildfowl, model boats, and as on this Sunday many people around the edge.
