Many cars crowd the car park at this archetypal Surrey village pub. It has partial stone floors, a wide choice of excellent real ales, a good selection of food, and pleasant efficient service. What more to want? Just the name, however, puzzles me. Dolphins live in the sea - some 40-odd miles from here at least, and although there is the River Mole close by, I doubt whether a dolphin ever made it here by that route.
