SH8336 : Across the valley of the Nant y Merddwr

taken 7 years ago, 5 km WNW of Parc, Gwynedd, Wales

Across the valley of the Nant y Merddwr
Signs of busier times in the valley - in the middle distance, a set of drystone walls form a series of sizable sheep enclosures, whilst closer to the camera, there is a small rectangular construction which looks remarkably like a highland shieling. A record on the 'Coflein' website at LinkExternal link suggests it's actually associated with nearby peat cuttings.
