The Royal Mail rail service shown normally passes through this area on weekdays at around 4pm, or just before 4pm. In this case it was travelling at quite high speed as it passed the camera, heading from Shieldmuir (Wishaw) mail depot onwards to Carlisle and the south. Buzzards frequent the tree-tops above the train.
