NX6090 : Bridge over Kendoon Loch

taken 11 years ago, near to Knowehead, Dumfries And Galloway, Great Britain

Bridge over Kendoon Loch.
Bridge over Kendoon Loch.
When the Deugh was dammed the consequent rise in water levels forced the building of this bridge, a much less graceful structure than the stone arch bridge which predated it spanning a local beauty spot known as Tinkler's Loup.
