SN7461 : Upper Afon Fflur

taken 11 years ago, 5 km from Pontrhydfendigaid, Ceredigion/Sir Ceredigion, Great Britain

Upper Afon Fflur
Upper Afon Fflur
The Afon Fflur originates on the eastern slopes of Garn Gron and continues through this valley between Garn Gron and Carn Fflur. The narrow width of the stream is a little deceptive; it is quite deep and fast in this place. The summit of Garn Gron is located in the SW corner of this square, and most of the square is an upland plateau just above 500m, the valley pictured here (in NW) being the exception. The eastern half of the square is forest, the west is rough grassland.
