SN7360 : Y Garn

taken 11 years ago, near to Y Garn [antiquity (non-Roman)], Ceredigion, Great Britain

Y Garn
Y Garn
The southwesterly extension of Garn Gron, itself known as y Garn, with its little lake on top. This square is rough grassland throughout. Most of it is around the 500m mark, although y Garn drops off fairly steeply at the western edge of the square. The Groes Fechan valley forms an 80m deep cut in the southern half of the square, with some enclosures at the valley bottom. This enclosed land doesn't seem to be used intensively anymore as the vegetation is similar on both sides of the fence.
